Purchasing games from Steam will give you a digital copy of the game, which you can download using your Steam account in any computers. If you purchase a retail copy from your local store, commonly known as physical copy of the game, you don't need to download the game anymore, you just need to install it which saves you time and you can.

- How to get Steam to download a DLC? It isn't in my list of available DLCs either in game or by checking the list when right clicking the game title in the Steam library. Comment has been collapsed. It installs automatically. Right click your game, go to properties, and the DLC tab shows you if.

Automatically Download Game When Release Steam Games
Had I known that Black Ops had to played via Steam, I would never have bought it and just have got a pirate copy instead....but too late for that now.
I understand an update has been released for this game but I cannot work out how the hell I am meant to update it via Steam. I also cant find a physical download anywhere on net.
So wot do I do?
